Free website analytics for a small site

What is included in the Free plan?

• One website and 1,000 recorded pageviews per UTC calendar month.
• 30-day rolling analytics retention.
• Core traffic reports: pageviews, visitor estimates, top pages, referrers, devices and approximate countries.
• A real-time indicator for recently active pages.

The tracking script uses no analytics cookies, persistent browser storage or fingerprinting. The signed-in LiteStats application uses authentication cookies separately. Read the privacy documentation for collection details and deployment considerations.

What happens at 1,000 monthly pageviews?

Free collection pauses when the monthly allowance is reached. It resumes in the next calendar month, or after an upgrade. It does not automatically create a paid subscription or charge overage fees. Data older than the rolling retention window is removed under the Free plan’s retention rules.

This makes Free useful for a small portfolio, personal site or early product page if its recorded traffic fits the allowance. Choose a paid plan before a planned launch if you expect more traffic and want collection to continue.

Which features require an upgrade?

Custom events and AI Agent Access through MCP require Starter or Pro. Funnels, UTM campaign reports and CSV/JSON exports require Pro. A free account can record visits from tagged campaign links, but the campaign breakdown is a Pro feature.

Starter starts at €9/month for 10K combined pageviews and custom events across up to three websites. Yearly billing is €90 upfront for that tier. Check the pricing page for current capacity tiers and the full feature comparison.

Understand the numbers before you compare tools

LiteStats estimates visits rather than identifying unique people. Its random page-load identifier stays in memory: a full navigation or reload starts another identifier, while SPA navigation can share it. Returning-visitor analysis and cross-device identity are outside this measurement model.

The same person opening three separately loaded pages can contribute multiple visit estimates. Older reports can include historical sessions with different boundaries. Use pageviews and trends carefully when comparing LiteStats with another tool, and read the metric definitions.
